“We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain."

-Hebrews 6:19

SMALL GROUPS

Our small group meets together on campus to discuss the Bible and talk about life. Small groups are where life happens and where you will likely meet some of your very best friends.

MISSIONS ORIENTED

Missions are a big deal to us. We offer an international and a US missions trip option during our Spring Break. We also support and send missionaries all over the world.

SUNDAY SERVICE

Every Sunday at 11am you are invited to join us for a time of powerful worship, a relevant message, and an opportunity to connect with friends. Many of us attend Freedom Church on campus in the Kiehle Auditorium and would love to connect with you there!

AUTHENTIC COMMUNITY

We are more than a ministry - we are a family. We love to have fun, eat food, and do life together. Join us for a game nights, fall & winter retreats, pickup sports, or a backyard bonfire.

INTERNATIONAL FRIENDLY

Our campus is very diverse. We believe God is sending students to our campus from all over the world to meet Jesus. We love connecting with international friends.

David & Courtney Kasen

Crookston Chi Alpha Director/Lead Pastor

David and Courtney have been married for 4 years and have two beautiful boys, Alec and Noah. David and Courtney attended UND and were involved in Chi Alpha before interning and pastoring with UND Chi Alpha for 3 years. Recently God called them to plant Chi Alpha at UMC in 2018.

They love to see God move powerfully in students as they step into God's calling and destiny for their lives and become people of influence for God.

Dakota graduated from UND with a Bachlors Degree in Computer Science. Raised in Grand Forks, ND, he was involved in Chi Alpha for 4 years as an Undergrad, and 2 years as a CMIT intern.

God changed his life through Chi Alpha, and wants to see other people experience what he did; a community that loves people and loves God. He moved to Crookston because he wants to see the the UMC campus on fire for God.
